The Proposal
Two days before I went back to California, my family gave a despedida
party for me. After the party, Juriz and I decided to go out for a dinner and I
should be ready by 8 pm. It was already 8:30
and I was getting irritated for Juriz being so late. I didn’t know he was just
making sure that everything will be according to his plan. He drove me to
Bellissimo Restaurant, one of our favorite place to eat, and he said he made a
reservation for our dinner. I have no idea that both our families and friends
were all hiding at the back of the restaurant just waiting for the cue to
witness the most awaited proposal.
I remember Juriz saying about his
plans for us having survived all the trials that came into our lives and I
noticed there were tears in his eyes and as the singer started singing “Ikaw”,
our theme song. Everyone came in to the room with cameras and videos. Right at
that very moment, I knew he will ask the question I have been waiting to hear
for years…

Trying to recall his lines |
Juriz was in tears while I was
laughing out loud (in so much happiness hahaha) I guess because I was so
surprise to see everyone. Then he went down on his knees, took out a small red
box opened it and cried a little more. He remained silent for awhile (he was
trying to recall the lines he practiced) unfortunately his mind went blank and
he couldn’t say anything but, “Will You Marry Me?” and what did I say? After
the very long wait, I said, “Of course Sweetheart YES YES YES!”
One of the best moments of our lives |
Here is the video though sorry
for the poor lights and sounds…

The Invites
As we are having a Red Carpet Premiere theme for our Big Day we have thought that it will be nice to have a customized wedding invitation. Juriz and I wanted to have something far from the traditional invites so with the help of my sister Loren we got our wish.
