The entire day of December 28 was the most magical day in our lives.
We both thought that we were going to spend the last day before the wedding relaxing and doing our last minute beauty regimen but to our surprise we were cramming for last minute seat adjustments and some unwanted incidents with my bridal car. Trying to do our very best to polish everything we were unable to sleep in our reserved hotel and rather stayed in my uncle's house to do some calls and to finish guests seating arrangements up to 2 in the morning. Tired and exhausted, Juriz and I stayed positive and happy and ended the day with a very special prayer not to rain because it was raining almost everyday and we were having a garden wedding and the rain will definitely ruin every single detail of a 1 year planning.
As I opened my eyes at 6 am I was so happy to be greeted with clear skies while still whispering, "God please hold the rain even just for today." We left the house an hour after without any breakfast we were both excited and stressed for last minute adjustments and as we were driving on our way to our hotel the sun brightened up and as the rays touched my face I started crying... It was truly a blessing from God...an answered prayer. I still remember what I said to Juriz, "Sweetheart, we both know how God kept us together amidst the trials that came our way and up to now He never failed to show how much He loved us such a miracle." And Juriz also started to cry. We were so happy and felt so blessed.
Everything that we prayed for became a reality. It was the wedding we have been dreaming of even more I guess. We were so high that day and we cannot hide the smile and happiness in our faces. Walking down the aisle was the moment I have been waiting for. Seeing Juriz at the end of the aisle so emotional with tears on his eyes was the perfect dream that came true. Sealing the ceremony with the kiss made it timeless.
To all our guests, our families and dear friends thank you for going out of your way just to be with us on our special day. We even have friends and families who traveled as far as Liliw and Singapore to join us. Juriz and I would never forget how you celebrated with us this very special event in our lives.
To our suppliers who worked hard and made the details possible the way we wanted, we would cherished forever your goodness to the both of us.
And lastly, to God who made all things possible this union...this marriage is a proof that miracles do come true that you are the God of love and whoever believes in your words will be blessed and will be led to the right path. All for your glory!
For my Mommy Chit, Lola Igon, and Lolo Gerry who waited so long just to see us walk down the aisle, I know you were all there with so much happiness. Your love for the both of us will forever remain in our hearts.
